A farmer’s market depends on the hard work of farmers and artisan food producers. These small business people are committed to producing the healthiest foods while sustaining the environment. More than thirty (30) participated in our market and we want to acknowledge their hard work and thank them for joining our New Rochelle community this year.
We also want to thank Pascale Le Draoulec, a farmer’s markets operator, whose Morning Glory Markets works with communities like ours to establish their own non-profit markets. These communities include Hastings on Hudson, NY Botanical Gardens, Bronxville, Chappaqua, and Irvington. She joined our BID team this year and recruited dozens of vendors. Her on-site managers Rebecca Gomez and Jessica Gillman managed the market weekly.
And a thank you shout out to Susan Nagib of SUSA Designs, our incredible photographer, graphic designer and social media maven who captured beautiful market moments on camera and produced our weekly newsletter which reaches over 4,000 subscribers.
