Market Newsletter for Saturday, July 13
Did you think your July celebrations were over? Au contraire! Join us at the market for New Rochelle’s annual Bastille Day festivities. We’ve got it all: free berets, French jazz musicians, and, courtesy of Wave Hill Bread, two-for-one baguettes!

We’re thrilled to announce the appearance of two very special vendors: Leila’s Crepe Station and Larchmont Charcuterie. Sample Leila’s handmade savory Ham and Cheese crepe, with scrumptious melted Havarti, or satisfy your sweet tooth with a mouth-watering Dulce de Leche crepe. Pick up some Saucesson Sec or Smoked Duck Breast from Larchmont Charcuterie to enjoy with the aforementioned baguettes!

A special ceremony at 10am will celebrate our unique sister city relationship with La Rochelle, France. The Alliance Francaise will have a tent with children’s crafts and the New Rochelle Public Library is sponsoring a showing of THE RED BALLOON at 1pm.

Don’t forget to grab your fresh chicken and eggs from R & M Farm, loads of healthy produce from R & R Produce and Growing Heart Farm. Vichyssoise is the perfect simple repast; serve this one hot or cold.
As always, there’s ample street parking. Come for the food, stay for the fun. Vive La Bastille!
