Market Newsletter for Saturday, September 21, 2019
Saturday’s forecast calls for a warm and sunshiney day. What better place to spend it than your New Rochelle Farmers Market?

You may have grown used to the plethora of produce: green peppers, chili peppers, squash, tomatoes, corn, mushrooms, watermelon, cantaloupe, apples, and more. R&R Produce and Growing Heart Farm will have tables packed with your favorite fruits and vegetables. R&M Farm will provide chicken, sausages, beef, and farm fresh eggs. Wrights Orchards will have apples, peaches, pears, and…cider donuts! On our next cool fall evening, try this scrumptious, healthy, seasonal soup

Anthis Greek Food will offer their delightful specialties, made with love…and the finest ingredients. You’ll find Spanakopita, Greek Salad, Moussaka and more. Much more!
Sweet Things and Wild Thyme Honey, vendors from New York’s Black Dirt Region, will bring honey in jars as well as honey sticks; perfect for snacking! The health benefits of consuming local honey are well known and it’s a yummy way to stay healthy this fall!
Grab a coffee from Clipper Coffee (the tuk-tuk is back!), an Alfajorcitos de Maicena (melt-in-your-mouth cookies stuffed with dulce de leche) or a slice of Chocolate Marquise from Silvia’s Kitchen.

Live music starts at 9am, the Library presents the Bokandeye African Dance and Drum Troupe at 11am, and then the sounds of jazz will fill the Green starting at 12:30.
Ample street parking, coffee, fresh flower bouquets, and more; we’ve got something for everyone! See you at the market!
